Poppet has a kind of absurdist, outsider take on Dungeon Synth. I imagine many purists might take issue with the genre-bending, but I think it’s absolutely essential. At times, it sounds like a “What if free improv and Dungeon Synth merged together?” collision. I miss the vocals of the previous two albums, but this one shows a lot of growth. Looking forward to the next one! Highly recommended! Keep Dungeon Synth Weird! buxtonskingdom
